Policy
Shipping
Jezwa is not shipping anything yet, so there is no shipping policy to quote you. Rather than fill this page with figures nobody has agreed to, here is the actual list of what has to be settled first, and what each item is waiting on.
Why this page is empty
Shipping terms are promises. A delivery estimate, a rate, a cut-off time and a list of countries are all things a customer is entitled to rely on, and every one of them depends on a supplier and a fulfilment arrangement that Jezwa has not yet made.
We could write the usual paragraph. It would be indistinguishable from the real thing and it would be fiction. So instead this page is the work list, published openly, and it will be replaced by a real policy the day there is one.
What has to be settled
Not decided yet Where we ship to.
No fulfilment partner has been selected, so no serviceable destinations exist. Whether Jezwa ships outside the United States at launch is an open commercial decision.
Not decided yet What shipping costs, and whether there is a free-shipping threshold.
Rates depend on the carrier, the pack weight and the fulfilment agreement. Jezwa has no approved product, so it does not know what a parcel weighs.
Not decided yet How long orders take to leave, and how long they take to arrive.
Processing time is set by whoever picks and packs the order. No such party has been appointed.
Not decided yet Which carriers we use, and whether tracking is provided.
Follows from the fulfilment agreement.
Not decided yet Who pays import duties and taxes on international orders, and how they are collected.
Depends on whether international shipping is offered at all, and on the checkout configuration. Nothing is configured.
Not decided yet What happens when a parcel is lost, delayed or damaged in transit.
This is a claims process shared with the carrier and the fulfilment partner. Neither exists.
Not decided yet Whether coffee is shipped from Jezwa or direct from a roaster, and what the customer is told about that.
A sourcing decision. Jezwa will say plainly who ships its coffee rather than leaving the impression of a warehouse it does not have.
What you can rely on today
Only this: no order can be placed on this site, so nothing is owed to you and nothing is being shipped. The shop pages and the cart exist so the interface can be reviewed before launch, and checkout is switched off.
When there is a real policy it will appear here, dated. See also returns and terms.
